Join OM System Ambassador and world-traveling photographer Lee Hoy for an adventure into white box photography! This is a rare opportunity to work alongside Lee in the studio and learn to capture close-up images of insects, reptiles, amphibians, and flowers using techniques you can take home and use repeatedly.

Find, collect, and return photography specimens safely near your home

Pose macro photography subjects
Lee will demonstrate and share expert tips on exposure, subject handling, magnification, and minimum focusing distance. During the workshop, Lee will guide you through building your white box, understanding lighting and composition techniques, and photographing live subjects using the “Meet Your Neighbor” approach. He’ll also share expert tips on working with everything from a simple DIY setup to a fully automated rig.
You’ll also receive instruction and access to flash triggers compatible with Canon, Nikon, OM System, Sony, and Panasonic. Bring your camera, a macro lens (or rent one), and a genuine curiosity for the small wonders of the natural world.
