Join us for a hands-on evening focused on how to pose real couples in a way that feels effortless. You’ll learn how to prompt, direct, and guide your couples while keeping things relaxed and real—no stiff poses or fake laughs required.

Agenda:
We’ll kick things off with an hour of instruction, where Cayla will walk you through her posing philosophy and how she works quickly and confidently with real couples. After a short break, you’ll put those techniques into practice. A real couple will be available to pose, and you’ll have the chance to direct and photograph different looks with Cayla’s guidance and feedback. We’ll be using constant lights, so the focus stays entirely on posing, not gear.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Cayla Cummings is the owner and lead photographer of Carhart Photography, a Texas-based wedding photo and film company built on connection, storytelling, and collaboration. Over the past nine years, she and her husband, David, have grown Carhart into a trusted 11-person team known for their relaxed, cinematic style and emotionally grounded work.
